H.E.R.I. is a volunteer organization serving homeschoolers in the northeast Florida region. Essentially, we are a support group of other smaller support groups, home-based private schools and individuals, and as such offer unlimited opportunities for serving and encouraging one another. Home Educational Resources and Information, better known as HERI (?hurry?) was established in 1985 to provide support and communication between homeschoolers. HERI is a non-profit corporation organized for all homeschoolers regardless of race, creed or other homeschooling alliances. HERI is NOT a school, or in any way a legal covering for homeschoolers.

FPEA (Florida Parent Educators Association)- www.fpea.com The Florida Parent Educators Association (FPEA) exists solely to serve homeschooling families in Florida. The FPEA executes that mission through support for the legal right to homeschool, local school board education and interaction, support group networking, a state convention, local conferences and events, informative communications, and most importantly, by giving individual encouragement, all in accordance with Judeo-Christian principles.

HSLDA (Home School Legal Defense Association) - www.hslda.org
Home School Legal Defense Association is a nonprofit advocacy organization established to defend and advance the constitutional right of parents to direct the education of their children and to protect family freedoms. Through annual memberships, HSLDA is tens of thousands of families united in service together, providing a strong voice when and where needed.
